There was a time back in 2010 when most of my posts were reviews. I developed a star rating sysem at the time. I have since become disillusioned with rating and rankings. I don’t do many reviews but when I do I avoid star rankings. For those wishing to look back at the old reviews, this is the system I used:
1 Star – Terrible:
Can I have a refund and the two hours of my life back please.
2 Stars – Not very good:
I won’t be rushing to see it again.
3 Stars – Good:
I will happily watch this one again.
4 Stars – Excellent:
Really loved it and will be seeing it again. I may even buy the DVD
5 Stars- Instant Classic:
An amazing film that ranks amongst the best I have seen.
